Summer to follow

Here's an inspirational quote for you all!

Background was made using the feather stamp with white embossing and then shading with distress inks (a.k.a. Emboss resist technique). I've been wanting feather stamps for so long and got them in the Stamp set I got for Christmas (Creative Stamping magazine, Issue 51)

I'm not a great fan of colouring so I just used red and yellow small ink pads and wiped it over white card stock. I then stamped the feathers over the coloured areas before cutting out.

Purple wishes (LIM362, FMS319)

How lucky am I to make two cards in one day. It's been a while!

This is the first time I'm doing something on watercolour paper and just did a rough scratching with watercolour pencils before adding water.  I've been on a personal challenge to refresh my background stamping techniques to make my own 'design papers'.

I combined four challenges for this one:

Happy Birthday to You!!

Background florals:  Free stamp set with Creative Stamping magazine, (www.papercraftmagazines.com) - Issue 51
Sentiment:  Free stamp set with magazine, Crafts Beautiful (www.crafts-beautiful.com) - January 2018

Butterfly kisses (CTS254)

I managed to ink up some brand new stamps I got given as gifts in England!  I love their detail and the one set has beautiful vintage looking flowers.

This card is for Cas(e) this Sketch #254:

Rose image and sentiment:  Free stamp set with magazine, Crafts Beautiful (www.crafts-beautiful.com) - January 2018
Butterfly:  Free stamp set with Creative Stamping magazine, (www.papercraftmagazines.com) - Issue 51

Here's the Sketch:

I hope everyone had a good break over Christmas and wishing you all the best for 2018.

Love
